Digital Identities in Asia – Gate Opener to a Modern Administration
In collaboration with Rule of Law Programme Asia - Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V.
As governments around the world strive to digitize services and make public administration more efficient, inclusive, and citizen-centered, digital identity has emerged as a foundational tool for transformation. This roundtable, hosted by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Rule of Law Programme Asia (KAS RLPA), together practitioners and policymakers from Singapore, India, and Taiwan to explore how digital ID systems have enabled public innovation in their countries. From India’s Aadhaar program to Taiwan’s citizen-centric digital tools and Singapore’s Singpass and its Smart Nation initiative, the session examines the technological, legal, and cultural dimensions of implementing digital identities.
Join us for a dynamic exchange on best practices, challenges, and the future of digital governance in Asia and beyond.
This Round Table takes place at Forum Navigating Change.
