When it comes to participation and communication, everyone fails all the time. No matter how much governments and administrations communicate and try to include – the majority of people just don’t seem to listen and to care. At the same time, the desire for transparency, information, and participation is higher than ever before. Citizens, as well as civil servants, are demanding a system that is more inclusive and more transparent. The people are ready – just they seem to need the right format. We believe that the key lies in a new approach to the issue: Communitycation. This term describes a movement of politicians, administrators, citizens, and stakeholders who believe in a joint goal and are willing to work on it. In this session, you will learn more about the idea, how it can be applied and where to start.
