PolyFutures: Reimagining Policymaking Together

This meet-up builds on PolyFutures as a space to exchange and explore how participatory, creative, future-oriented, and actionable approaches are used in policymaking. PolyFutures is an event of the EU Policy Lab of the European Commission on innovative policymaking. The Berlin meet-up will bring the spirit of PolyFutures to the Creative Bureaucracy Festival, engaging with key questions that emerged from the event. Through a facilitated conversation, participants will exchange experiences, surface challenges, and learn from each other’s practices. Rather than presenting solutions, the session invites participants to open up a moment for collective reflection and shared learning on how approaches such as design, foresight, and behavioural insights can be combined and adapted across different governance contexts. The focus is on creating an open, practice-based space where complexity serves as a starting point for experimentation.
