Theresa Gauer

Theresa Gauer arbeitet in der Presse- und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit der Stadt Burghausen und bewegt sich an der Schnittstelle von kommunaler Kommunikation, öffentlicher Sichtbarkeit und lokaler Transformationspraxis. In ihrer Arbeit interessiert sie sich dafür, wie öffentliche Institutionen, lokale Initiativen und gesellschaftliche Akteur:innen besser miteinander in Austausch treten und gemeinsame Anliegen wirksam in die Öffentlichkeit tragen können. Dabei steht vor allem auch die Identifizierung, passgenaue Information und Erreichbarkeit der jeweiligen Zielgruppe im Fokus. Auch die transparente Aufbereitung und Bereitstellung politischer Entscheidungsprozesse spielt bei ihrer Arbeit eine wichtige Rolle. Darüber hinaus ist sie im Umfeld des SauRiassl Syndikats und des bundesweit agierenden Mietshäuser Syndikats engagiert und bringt damit auch Perspektiven aus gemeinschaftsgetragenen und ortsbezogenen Entwicklungsprozessen ein.

Theresa Gauer works in the press and public relations department of the City of Burghausen, operating at the intersection of municipal communication, public visibility and local transformation practices. In her work, she is interested in how public institutions, local initiatives and social actors can engage more effectively with one another and communicate shared concerns to the public in a meaningful way. The focus is particularly on identifying the relevant target groups, providing them with tailored information and ensuring they can be reached. The transparent presentation and communication of political decision-making processes also play an important role in her work. Furthermore, she is involved with the SauRiassl Syndicate and the nationwide Mietshäuser Syndicate, thereby contributing perspectives from community-led and place-based development processes.
