Sebastian Klemm

Sebastian Klemm arbeitet an der Schnittstelle von ökologischer Regeneration, urbaner Transformation und gemeinwohlorientierter Wertschöpfung. Er entwickelt Ansätze, die naturbasierte Infrastrukturen, lokale Kreisläufe und neue Governance-Modelle so verbinden, dass Städte ihre eigenen regenerativen Entwicklungsprozesse aufbauen und dauerhaft im Gemeinwesen verankern können.

Bei nextlearning baut er die Living Values Initiative auf, die ökologische Regeneration, zirkuläre Bioökonomie und gemeinwohlorientierte Stadtentwicklung zusammenführt. Zuvor war er im Umfeld von Dark Matter Labs tätig, insbesondere im Kontext von Trees as Infrastructure. Dort beschäftigte er sich mit Finanzierungs- und Entwicklungsansätzen, die urbane Natur als Infrastruktur für Klimaresilienz, öffentliche Gesundheit und sozialen Zusammenhalt stärken.

Sebastian Klemm works at the intersection of ecological regeneration, urban transformation and value creation for the common good. He develops approaches that combine nature-based infrastructure, local cycles and new governance models in such a way that cities can establish their own regenerative development processes and embed them permanently within the community.

At nextlearning, he is establishing the Living Values Initiative, which brings together ecological regeneration, the circular bioeconomy and public-good-oriented urban development. Previously, he worked with Dark Matter Labs, particularly in the context of Trees as Infrastructure. There, he focused on financing and development approaches that strengthen urban nature as infrastructure for climate resilience, public health and social cohesion.
