Raluca Mihaela Bârsan

Raluca works in the first public university in Romania to formally start a design thinking school. She is a certified trainer and design thinking coach and when she first discovered design thinking, her 10 years of experience in problem solving clicked with her passion for education. Since working in the public system her creativity is fueled by turning constraints into opportunities. This is how she got the idea to start a community of practice around design thinking with around 20 professors in Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu. It was a solution to one of the constraints in her PhD research.

Raluca likes to ask why, think and work interdisciplinary. Sometimes, in a world full of bubbles, you also need the bubblegum.
