Namatai Kwekweza is a feminist, constitutionalism advocate, human rights activist, institution sustainability enthusiast, professional public speaker, strategist, foresight practitioner, tech enthusiast, social entrepreneur, and Pan-African driven by the strong desire to advance human potential through human capital development and leadership development. Namatai has worked extensively in the fields of constitutionalism and international human rights, she is highly familiar with local, regional and global girls’, youth and women’s rights instruments, participation trends, creative activism, digital activism, advocacy, resource mobilization, movement building, laws, policies and procedures with experience in translating these into high impact and measurable program interventions for scalable and sustainable development in Africa. Namatai Kwekweza is a disruptive thought leader and consultant who currently serves as the Executive Director of WELEAD Trust, an organization that she founded at age 18 in 2017, which is focused on youth leadership development and advocacy. Namatai is an awardee of the WalkAbout Prize, a Fellow at the School of International Futures, an awardee of the inaugural Kofi Annan NextGen Prize for Democracy, an (IVLP) International Visitors Leadership Program Alumni, a Rotarian and an award-winning professional public speaker under Toastmasters International in Southern Africa.
