YEAR-ROUND OPPORTUNITIES
Share Your Ideas with the Festival
Propose a workshop, suggest a speaker or share a topic you think should be part of the Creative Bureaucracy conversation.
Share an Idea with the Creative Bureaucracy Festival
The Creative Bureaucracy Festival brings together people, ideas and practical approaches that are changing how public institutions think and act.
Our programme develops through open calls, partnerships, invitations and ongoing exchange with our international community. Throughout the year, you can propose a workshop, recommend a speaker or tell us about a topic that deserves greater attention.
Please Note: Our annual Call for Participation is a separate application process with specific formats, criteria and deadlines.
HOW CAN YOU CONTRIBUTE?
Propose a Workshop
Share a practical format with our community
Do you have a participatory workshop that helps public servants develop skills, explore new approaches or tackle shared challenges?
We welcome practical, engaging formats with clear takeaways that can work online or in person. Proposals are considered throughout the year, and we will contact you if we see a potential fit.

Suggest a Speaker or Topic
Tell us who or what we should know about
Is there someone doing remarkable work in or around public administration? An emerging topic, promising initiative or important question that deserves greater attention?
Recommend a speaker, practitioner, project, organisation or topic. You can nominate yourself, suggest someone else or simply share an idea.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU SUBMIT?
Both forms remain open throughout the year without a fixed deadline. Our programme team reviews submissions as we develop future Festival programmes, digital activities and community formats. If your idea fits a specific opportunity, we may contact you to discuss possible involvement. As we receive many suggestions, we cannot respond to every submission individually.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT FROM THE CALL FOR PARTICIPATION?
The Creative Bureaucracy Festival regularly hosts Community Days in November and March, featuring interactive workshops for our international community. This year-round form helps us collect workshop ideas and supports the ongoing curation of these and other programme activities.
The Call for Participation is a separate application process for projects seeking to present live at the Creative Bureaucracy Festival on 2–3 June 2027. It follows defined criteria and deadlines and involves a more rigorous selection process with an international jury.
