Montira Horayangura Unakul works at UNESCO Bangkok on programmes within the Asia-Pacific region related to the safeguarding and sustainable development of cultural heritage, with a focus on World Heritage. She has authored and edited publications related to heritage management, urbanism and sustainable tourism. She was educated in economics, East Asian studies, architecture and urban planning from Harvard University, University of California, Berkeley and Chulalongkorn University.
