Jose Diaz Mendoza

Policy technologist and AI governance specialist with experience supporting multilateral and public institutions on AI, digital transformation and public innovation. He is Co-Founder and Host of Futuro Publico, a Latin American Podcast and knowledge creation platform on innovation in government, digital diplomacy, design and new technologies. He holds graduate degrees in AI and public policy from the Politecnico di Milano and the Hertie School of Governance respectively, as well as executive training from Harvard Kennedy School. His previous affiliations include WHO AI, OECD/OPSI, GIZ African Union and the Government of Peru.
