Aurélie currently serves as the Global Director of the Global Development Initiative at CPI, based in Berlin, Germany. Throughout her career, Aurélie has worked with leading international and bilateral organizations such as UNICEF, UNDP, and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She has worked across diverse regions, including Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, gaining invaluable experience in both development settings and complex emergencies. In the field, she led several teams to measure the impact of development and humanitarian programs. She also played an important role in implementing child protection, social protection and gender programs. In addition to her fieldwork, Aurélie has held key positions in headquarters in New York and Geneva, where she has engaged in political negotiations at the United Nations. Her expertise spans from field programming to navigating diplomatic channels, enabling her to make a meaningful impact on a global scale. Aurélie's commitment to her work is underscored by her firsthand experiences in some of the world's most challenging crises. These experiences have deepened her understanding of the profound issues that communities face and have fueled her passion for driving positive and sustainable change. Since joining CPI, Aurelie is committed to decolonising the development sector and inspiring radical change for the international community.
