1. Checklist for before the day:
- Secure your festival ticket: If you haven’t already, secure your free speaker ticket as soon as possible with the code CBF25_SPEAKER via our ticket shop.
- Register for the Speakers Reception: Sign up here by Friday 30 May to join us the evening before the festival to start this year’s festivities with other speakers, partners and our team!
- Promote your session: Don’t forget to spread the word about your involvement in the festival! Find personalised promotional graphics for each session here and our media kit here.
- Prepare for your session: Review our format/stage overview and technical briefing guides to ensure you are comfortable with your session format. Get a feel for the festival and what to wear via our festival 2024 photo gallery.
- Important: If you are planning to play any music during your session, we must be informed due to copyright regulations. If you have agreed with your session organizer that you will have a presentation, please be sure you upload it HERE as soon as possible.
2. Checklist on the day:
- Step 1 – Arrival: We advise all speakers to arrive at Festsaal Kreuzberg at least 60 minutes before the start of your session. Of course we’d love to have you on site all day. Doors open at 8am and we strongly recommend arriving early (before 8.45am) to avoid the morning rush ready for our opening session on the Impact Stage at 9am.
- Step 2 – Registration: Upon arrival at the venue, first go to the registration tent. There you will receive your name badge, speaker wristband, and the programme booklet.
- Step 3 – Speaker Check-In: After this, go directly to the Info Desk in the Networking Area where our team will check you in and give you your complimentary meal voucher.
- Step 4 – Go to Your Session(s): We recommend visiting your stage before your session to get a feel for the space. Find your stage via the location map. Once your session time arrives, go to the following locations at least 15 minutes before the start time so our team can greet you and sort your microphone:
Impact Stage: Go to the front left-hand side of the stage. Once there you’ll find a staircase on the left with a platform halfway up. Wait at this platform and our team will come and find you there.
Connection Stage/Imagination Stage/Transformation Stage: Go to the technical area (where the production team is located) and our team will meet you there.
Forums: Each session host/moderator will be in touch separately to arrange where speakers should meet. If unsure, simply go to the forum door and wait there.
Cruise: Refer to the separate briefing guide shared with you.
- Important: Stay On Time: The programme is run on a strict schedule. If your session goes long, you take away from other presenter’s time on stage and your talk will unfortunately be interrupted by the moderator, which we would all like to avoid.
