The We-We Approach: Impulses for Projects with Local Roots and European Wings

In an era where democratic values face challenges from all sides, strengthening both local community bonds and broader European connections is essential for building resilient, inclusive societies.

This interactive 90-minute workshop identifies key elements of successful "We-We" projects—initiatives that reinforce local identity while deepening European connections. Through guided exercises, participants exchange experiences and ideas on how public administration can enhance both local and European identity, boost local economies while fostering European cooperation, and leverage local expertise while enabling European knowledge transfer. AI-supported methods accompany and streamline the process. By the end of the session, participants co-create a practical takeaway to support the development of future dual-impact projects. The workshop is open to those with initial ideas or relevant experience—as well as newcomers with the right mindset.
