Tim Lazaroff

Tim ist ein vielseitiger Urbanist mit einem interdisziplinären Zugang zu organisationaler und gesellschaftlicher Nachhaltigkeit. Er verbindet Sozialwissenschaften, politische Kommunikation, Urban Governance und Management mit einem pragmatischen und zugleich leichten Zugang zur Projektkoordination. Vor seinem Wechsel zu Politics for Tomorrow arbeitete Tim viereinhalb Jahre beim ICLEI World Secretariat. Dort steuerte er deutsch geförderte Projekte der International Climate Initiative (IKI) über internationale Teams und Themen hinweg mit. 2019 zog Tim für einen M.Sc. in Urban Management an der TU Berlin nach Berlin. Zuvor studierte er an der University of Pennsylvania Urban Studies und Management. Außerdem schreibt er den Substack-Newsletter Connecting Climates.

Tim is a versatile urbanist with a multidisciplinary approach to organizational and societal sustainability. He combines backgrounds in social sciences, political communication, urban governance, and management with a practical and lighthearted approach to project coordination. Before joining Politics for Tomorrow, Tim spent 4.5 years at the ICLEI World Secretariat, where he co-managed German-funded International Climate Initiative (IKI) projects across international teams, offices, and thematic areas. Tim moved to Berlin in 2019 to pursue an M.S. in Urban Management at TU Berlin. He previously studied Urban Studies and Management at the University of Pennsylvania. He also writes the Substack newsletter Connecting Climates.
