Thilak Mahendran

Thilak Mahendran is Head of the Competence Center Open Data, the federal in-house consulting unit to unleash further open government data. He previously worked for IBM for almost a decade, most recently in the field of Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence. During this time, Thilak experienced the need for a good data foundation, which he is now advocating for in the public sector. Ten years in the UK have shown him what a digital state could look like, but he still doesn't like fish & chips.
