Sally Han is the Manager, Cultural Partnerships, in Economic Development and Culture at the City of Toronto. She leads the portfolio of Toronto’s cultural grants programs, public art, cultural policy and research, the Toronto Book Awards, the Poet Laureate and Photo Laureate programs, and space provision through below market rent leases and support for capital infrastructure development. She also served 8 years with the federal government at the Department of Canadian Heritage and the Canada Council for the Arts. Prior to public service, Sally spent 20 years as a producer and director of theatre, radio, and television. She is a graduate of the University of Toronto.
