Romina-Ecaterina Grigor is a young Roma activist from Romania, passionate about human rights, gender equality, and empowering Roma girls. She has coordinated a local Roma youth group, organized a march against violence towards women, and served for two years as an advisor to Purposeful. She is a member of the Romani Gender Experts Collective and was nominated for the WOW Festival Youth Directory Board in 2023. Her work focuses on raising awareness about early and forced marriages through creative and community-based approaches. A strong advocate for intersectionality, she frequently speaks at conferences and public events to champion the rights of Roma women and girls.
