Rokas is an activist-turned-public servant who treats government work as a powerful tool for positive change. Having been engaged in union organizing and NGO work, he has built a network of like-minded people at different levels of society to help push a progressive agenda for those who have least representation.
Lately his work focuses on enabling over-indebted households to reintegrate into the labour market as well as improving the conditions of platform workers. Rokas' approach to policy-making is human-centered and data-driven, often putting his projects in opposition to decades of institutional practice, which he takes as a sign of "doing something right."
