Nicolás Rebolledo

Nicolás Rebolledo is a strategic service designer and educator based in London, with over 20 years of experience leading strategies, research, and design-led innovation to create new services and transform people and organisations.

He is Senior Tutor in Service Design and Design Futures (Associate Professor) at the Royal College of Art, where he leads the Service Futures Studio and co-directs Wicked Acceleration Labs, a joint research initiative with Imperial College Business School exploring mission-oriented innovation and systemic transformation.

Nicolás is also co-founder of UNIT, a consultancy specialising in innovation and strategic service design. Through UNIT, he works with regulated private companies, public institutions, and international organisations across Latin America to tackle complex challenges and build institutional capacity. He is also a Fellow of States of Change, a global collective advancing public innovation through learning and practice.

Originally trained as an architect at the Catholic University of Chile, he holds an MSc in Technology Entrepreneurship from University College London (UCL) and a PhD in Service Design from the Royal College of Art. He has taught at UCL School of Management, London Business School, and Imperial College Business School, and served as a Design Advisor at MIT GovLab.
