Nico Degenkolb is Advisor for Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries at the Goethe-Institut Head Office in Munich, where has held various roles since 2011. He initiated the "Cities Ahead" project, which advises European cities on international cultural urban development. Between 2017 and 2020, he coordinated Nuremberg’s shortlisted bid for the title of European Capital of Culture 2025.
