Maya Tan

Maya is a creative writer, editor and producer of content in the areas of print, podcast, digital content and video. She is currently Brand, Content Curation and Communications Lead at Think City, an urban rejuvenation organisation in Malaysia where the creative economy is a significant pillar of work. She was formerly a broadcast journalist and radio producer/editor for BFM 89.9, a business radio station. Prior to that she spent several years in the fashion industry and public relations. In her free time, she dabbles in theatre and has written for and performed in satirical comedy pieces, musicals and jazz revues. Her short stories have been published in anthologies by local publisher, FIXI, and magazines such as Esquire. She is currently working on a full-length novel.
