The festival’s online event in March
Digital Kick-Off
Three days of project showcases, workshops, and creative bureaucracy in action!
The Digital Kick-Off marks the starting point of the Creative Bureaucracy Festival year. From 3–5 March 2026, it brings together public servants, innovators, and changemakers from around the world for three days of online Project Showcases and digital workshops. As a free, global event, the Digital Kick-Off highlights practical examples of creative bureaucracy in action and sets the tone for the festival programme leading into the live event in Berlin in June.
The full workshop and Project Showcase programme will be published in mid-February 2026.
What to expect
Projekt showcases
Project Showcases present innovative approaches to public sector transformation from both the DACH region and the international community. All showcases are shared as short, pre-recorded videos via the Creative Bureaucracy Festival’s social media channels (LinkedIn & Instagram), allowing participants and the wider community to discover, discuss, and vote on projects they want to see at the festival throughout the Digital Kick-Off. The programme concludes with the announcement of 6 jury favourites and two community voting winning projects, which are invited to present live on 11 June at the Creative Bureaucracy Festival in Berlin.
