Max Valentin is a crossover artist who navigates between the public sector, businesses, and civil society. His focus lies in developing methods for collaborative work, and he places great importance on ensuring that purpose always takes precedence, with choices of medium and method being consequences of the desired outcomes. At times, but very rarely, the right choice may be an informational brochure, while at other times it could be a touring museum housed in a mobile cottage, or a theatre performance about the history of cultural policy, or a digital tool for working on municipal challenges and opportunities.

Max has extensive experience in regional development across various Swedish regions. He has served on the advisory council of the Swedish National Archive and organized unconferences for journalists active around the Black Sea. In recent years, he has been deeply involved in addressing issues related to communication of democracy-related matters. One of his ongoing projects is Electionville - Ukraine, a large-scale board game designed to aid newly employed civil servants and first-time voters in understanding how a democratic municipal council operates.

Max works as the ceo of Fabel, a Stockholm-based method agency. In terms of education, Max holds an MSc in Business Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Chalmers University in Gothenburg.
