Designer and researcher specializing in designing public policies. She has designed a number of unique initiatives. Among the most important are gov_LAB - an educational program for local Polish government units, focusing on the application of design methodology to local challenges, and gov_TECH - an instrument supporting cooperation between technology companies, especially startups, and public entities for addressing local challenges. In addition, she has completed a systemic analysis of the circular economy in Poland, combined with the design of a portfolio of public interventions. She has co-authored publications such as “Destination UX: Designing Innovation Support Programs with a User-Centered Approach” and “Things and People: Identities of Polish Crafts.” Currently part of EU Policy Lab team, at the Joint Research Centre, European Commission. Working on projects including: Intergenerational Fairness Strategy, Future of Democracy, Food Waste Prevention. In her work, she emphasizes effective engagement of stakeholders from different sectors (science, business, public administration and social partners) through participatory and deliberative methods, using methodologies such as service design, human-centered design, design-driven innovation, behavioral insights, complex adaptive systems and foresight. She is constantly looking for new inspiration, experimenting with critical and speculative design.
