Luca de Stefano

Luca has a multifaceted career in spatial design and business, specializing in sustainable urban planning with prominent research and design projects around the world.

He is also the director of Non Architecture, an innovative platform that facilitates collaboration and co-creation among designers, citizens, and institutional partners. A key feature of Non Architecture is its global community, connecting thousands of designers worldwide. For Non Architecture, Luca supports the city of Valencia in the Climate Mission 2030 and has transformed Non Architecture into an innovative startup, partner of the New European Bauhaus.
In addition to his work with Non Architecture, Luca has participated in numerous European academic institutions through short courses, guest lectures, and reviews. He has established research fellowships with Roma Tre University and the RISE Cities program by the BMW Foundation, and serves as a project assessor and expert for the European Commission's Urban Innovation program.
