Julia Kümper

Julia Kümper ist mehrfache Gründerin und leitet seit Ende 2022 die Wirtschaftsförderung der Region Hannover. Durch ihre bisherigen Tätigkeiten ist sie bestens vertraut mit allen Belangen rund um das Thema Start-ups, Innovation und Venture Capital. Ihre aktuelle Position kombiniert alle bisherigen Erfahrungen und bietet ein neues Themenfeld: feministische Wirtschaftsförderung. Sie ist überzeugt, dass Verwaltung der Garant der Demokratie ist und ihr Schutz die Pflicht aller Verwaltungsmitarbeitenden. Dafür unterstützt sie mit ihrer Arbeit eine Staatsreform, die einen kulturellen Wandel in der Verwaltung schafft. Sie ist Mitbegründerin des Vereins Verwaltung für Demokratie e.V.

Julia Kümper is a multiple founder and has headed the Hannover Region Economic Development Agency since the end of 2022. Through her previous activities, she is very familiar with all matters relating to start-ups, innovation and venture capital. Her current position combines all her previous experience and offers a new subject area: feminist business development. She is convinced that administration is the guarantor of democracy and its protection is the duty of all administrative staff. To this end, her work supports a state reform that creates a cultural change in the administration. She is a co-founder of the organisation Verwaltung für Demokratie e.V. (Administration for Democracy).
