Juan Felipe Lopez Egana

Juan Felipe López is an expert in public sector innovation, advising organisations such as the OECD, IADB, CAF, and UNDP. As Executive Director of Unit, a strategic design and public innovation consultancy, he has worked in 18 Latin American countries and over 220 cities, supporting governments in improving policies and services. He led the conceptual design of Chile’s Government Innovation Lab (Laboratorio de Gobierno), the first national-level public innovation lab in Latin America, where he served as its founding Executive Director (2015–2018). He teaches public sector innovation at Chilean universities and is a fellow at States of Change, a global network of government innovators. He holds a degree in History from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MPA in Public and Social Policy from the London School of Economics.
