Gerrit Jan van ‘t Veen

Gerrit Jan is the founder of WorldStartup, a social entrepreneurship enthusiast, and intrigued by ecosystems. From The Hague and together with his team he is gradually building a global network of like-minded zealous nuts with a passion for positive growth, nature, and humanity. A recurring theme in his work is the emerging counterculture challenging the ethics of current markets. He appreciates the work of people like Willem Schinkels, Yanis Varoufakis, Solar Punks, Dougald Hine, and most recently Horsegirl and Amyl and the Sniffers.

In his free time, he is a runner and drummer.
