Erma Ranieri from Adelaide, South Australia has been involved in making our public service more effective, inclusive, agile and imaginative for more than a decade. She ran the State’s Office for Public Sector Renewal. A major project there was called Change@SouthAustralia. That programme initiated ‘The 90 day project’ where civil servants and others came up with solutions to difficult problems that were to be solved in 90 days. She is now Commissioner for Public Sector Employment which seeks to collaboratively develop a world-leading, pioneering, innovative and responsive public sector that benefits everyone. Erma has been supporting a substantial creative bureaucracy programme in South Australia.
