Diego Moreno

Diego is a lawyer and economist from the University of los Andes. He is the director of a non-governmental organization in Colombia, where he has been actively involved for the past 10 years. Diego has achieved success in various university research and innovation competitions, both for academia and socially-oriented businesses. He has represented civil society as a delegate in congresses organized by the Organization of American States. In addition, Juan has worked as an advisor for León Veracruz, an organization focused on developing and implementing projects in collaboration with the government to create systemic impact for vulnerable populations.

Currently, Diego leads two projects in collaboration with +Colombia. The first project aims to provide programming education to children in rural areas of Colombia, with the goal of positively influencing their future employability. The second project focuses on formalizing and improving the working conditions of 'recyclers' in Bogotá, D.C., adopting a holistic approach. Diego has been instrumental in establishing associations, enhancing production processes, and garnering recognition from both the community and public authorities.
