Christian Zierau ist Stadtrat für Finanzen, Personal, Ordnung und Feuerwehr der Landeshauptstadt Kiel. Zuvor war der Diplom-Verwaltungswirt bis 2019 Kämmerer des Kreises Herford. Weitere Stationen seiner Karriere waren Referatsleiter Finanzen für die Hansestadt Hamburg und er war für das Bezirksamt Berlin-Spandau sowie die Hansestadt Bremen tätig.
