Carolyn Kandusi is a social entrepreneur and policy innovator with over 15 years of experience advancing development across East and Southern Africa. She is the founder of Policy Innovation Lab-Africa (PIL-A), a Pan-African initiative that champions scalable social-public partnerships to connect bold social innovations with government systems. Previously, Carolyn served as Senior Program Officer at Segal Family Foundation, where she directed more than $10M in strategic investments to African Visionaries leading change in civil society and social enterprise. She sits on the President’s Advisory Committee on Generation Equality in Tanzania and the Executive Board of Ifakara Innovation Hub. An alumna of the European University Institute, Oxford, and Harvard Kennedy School, Carolyn is recognized as a leading voice in shaping inclusive and sustainable development across Africa.
