Bjoern Burmester

Bjoern Burmester is Principal and Head of Strategy at BwConsulting. His passion is the intersection of strategy, innovation and the public sector. Bjoern has over 20 years of experience in the German Armed Forces and public administration. He was an active soldier in the German Air Force and is still active today as a reservist with the rank of lieutenant colonel. As a specialist for organizational and digitalization projects, he supports the Federal Ministry of Defence in major organizational changes as well as digitalization and cyber projects. For several years, he led the internal consulting community in the NExT network, the “Network: Experts for the Digital Transformation of the Administration”.
