Asceline is a writer and impact driven professional specialized in research of conscious consumer trends, communications and community management. She has a PhD on the idea development of start-up social enterprises and supports changemakers in the early phase of their ventures and initiatives

With more than 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur and community manager, she initiated, developed and managed different online and offline communities, entrepreneurial platforms and programs. 


With her platform hetkanWEL.nl and social media channels she reaches more than 4 million people a year. In 2024 she co-founded ImpactDistrict. ImpactDistrict is an inclusive decentralized entrepreneurship program for and by ambitious women that aim to make a positive impact on society together. ImpactDistrict recently started in The Hague SouthWest under the name De Kookschool.
