Angelos Binis

Angelos Binis works as a Head of Sector in DG Reform in the area of Rule of Law. Before this he worked as the Head of the Internal Audit Capability at Frontex. From September 2019 to June 2022, he served as the Governor of the Hellenic National Transparency Authority. From 2015 to 2019 he worked as a Policy Analyst at the OECD in the Public Governance Directorate/Public Sector Integrity Division focusing on advancing the work on good and accountable governance, integrity, audit and Anti-corruption. He holds five international professional designations on audit, risk management and fraud investigations (CIA, CGAP, CFE, CRMA, COSO IC). Mr Binis has a legal background from the University of Athens (LL.B) and the University of Bristol (LL.M) and is a graduate of the Hellenic National School of Public Administration.
