Both! The Festival took place physically in 2018 and 2019 before it had to be held only digitally in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic. In 2022 we are happy to announce that we will bring you the best of both worlds – The Creative Bureaucracy Digital Kick-Off Day, our online event on Thu, 24 March 2022, and The Creative Bureaucracy Festival, our main event on-site in Berlin on Thu, 2 June 2022.

How can I visit/take part in the Festival?
We will publish information on how to visit the online stream of the Creative Bureaucracy Digital Kick-Off Day on 24 March 2022 closer to the event, as well as on how to receive tickets for the Creative Bureaucracy Festival main event on 2 June in Berlin. Stay tuned for more details.
In which languages will the sessions be available?
We are bilingual! For both events, digital and physical, we will again have an international programme with sessions in English as well as a German programme.
Do I need to register to attend an event?

Can I contribute to the Creative Bureaucracy Festival Programme?
Yes! There will be sessions where audience members can actively contribute (audience questions, polls, networking events, etc.). Also, for anyone who would like to plan a session or submit an idea, project, initiative or another person’s great achievements, there is our annual Call for Participation. Please note that the call for 2022 ran between 16 December – 3 February and is now closed. Information on how to take part in the process for 2023 will follow later this year.
