Workshop: Open Innovation in Cities: Radical Collaboration Towards Climate Neutrality
This digital workshop will empower participants — city officials, civil servants, national government officials, NGO representatives, social enterprise and startup professionals, innovators, and anyone engaged with urban development and climate initiatives — with the knowledge and tools for fostering open innovation and radical collaboration. Through a panel exploration of four city case studies and breakout session exercises, we will explore creative ways to build sustainable, climate-resilient, and inclusive urban futures. Participants will learn to co-create with various stakeholders, including government, private sector, and local communities, leveraging open innovation challenges for tangible urban improvements.
Participants will leave with a comprehensive understanding of open innovation challenges, radical collaboration strategies, and practical methodologies for implementing these in urban settings. They will also gain insights into problem identification, stakeholder engagement, and scaling innovative solutions for urban challenges.
