Susanna Tommila

Susanna Tommila works as the Cultural Director in the City of Espoo. Espoo is the second biggest city in Finland and is part of the Helsinki Metropolitan area, where she has been working in public administration for different employers for more than 20 years. Her special competence and interests are in strategic development and leadership. She places strategies at the core of her work as a director. She believes in diversity, collaboration, and sustainability as a resource. She has a strong belief in the European community and in international collaboration. She holds a Master of Arts degree and has been an eMBA graduate since 2019. She enjoys interacting with people, and her skills in network leadership are well-utilized both in the political world and in creating new partnerships. She is an experienced speaker, mentor, and coach in several European cities as well as in Finland. For her, art and culture are a way of living.
