- Digital Kick-Off Day
Saumya is first and foremost a community builder, and is dedicated to working in community to develop a justice oriented and equitable world. Her passions and work lie in systems innovation through a decolonization lens. At the Centre for Public Impact, Saumya has worn many hats contributing to this overall vision – working in the government innovation practice, the earned legitimacy practice, and most recently, the global development practice. She’s supported government frontline workers from around the world to shift culture towards innovation and experimentation, and designed new program experiences centered around building government trust. Prior to joining CPI, she worked at the Beeck Center for Social Impact and Innovation where she researched transformative and equitable financial models that would help create a more inclusive and power-shifting society for all. Saumya graduated from Georgetown University, where she received her B.A. in Government and Philosophy.
