Life Project: Humanized Care for Cases of Attempted Suicide

From 2014 to 2023, Project Life was developed and delivered in an integrated manner between Epidemiological Surveillance and the Psychosocial Care Center I to guarantee humanized care for cases of attempted suicide, as well as these individuals‘ families.
Through meetings with Health, Education and Social Assistance services, the flow and counterflow of suicide attempts were mapped and competencies were defined. Training was offered to fill out the investigation form, with cases being monitored to prepare a diagnosis of the territory and design of proposed interventions. These included mental health groups, matrix support, community spaces and campaigns.
