Creative Government – Executive Course in Collaboration with the Hertie School
Reimagine Bureaucracy. Deliver Transformation.
9–10 June 2026 · Berlin · Hertie School Executive Education
Just before the Creative Bureaucracy Festival opens its doors on 11 June, we are teaming up with the Hertie School to offer something we have wanted to build for a long time: a two-day executive course for the people who actually move administrations forward. Creative Government is designed for senior public leaders who want more than inspiration. They want a toolkit, a peer network, and the confidence to turn a culture of "No, because…" into one of "Yes, if…". We believe: creative bureaucracies lead to better democracies.
Consider it the hands-on companion to the festival: two days of deep work on the Hertie School Campus, followed by a full festival day connecting you to a global community rethinking how government works.
Public sector transformation is no longer optional. It's urgent.
Over two intensive days, you will explore how governments around the world are becoming more experimental, creative, digital and citizen-centred, while gaining the tools to lead this transformation yourself.
Through expert-led sessions, real-world case studies, and hands-on simulations, you will learn how to turn complexity into opportunity, break down silos, and build organisations that deliver public value and better services in a rapidly changing world.
