The 2025 Call for Participation is now open
The Call for Participation for our 2025 programme is officially open! We’re seeking visionary public sector innovators and creative minds from around the world to showcase your solutions for strengthening democracy.
Do you have a bold project, a dynamic workshop, or an inspiring initiative? Share your work with us by 6 December 2024, and join us for the Digital Kick-Off Day on 13 March 2025, with the opportunity to present on the festival stage in Berlin on 5 June 2025. From small adjustments to full systems transformation, we want to highlight practical examples of creative bureaucracy in action – we want to hear from you!
Submit your proposal in one of the two submission categories: Project Showcase or Digital Workshop and be part of the programme.

🗣️ About Your Project Showcase Proposal
Tell us about an existing or recently completed project or initiative. We are interested in all types of innovations at all levels of government – from improved services to streamlined processes, organisational culture hacks to new participatory governance mechanisms, cross-sector collaboration successes to reframed social problems.
👥 About Your Digital Workshop Proposal
Tell us how you empower public changemakers to rewire their public institutions and strengthen democracy using your imaginative toolbox! In this category, you have the chance to host a live 90-minute workshop as part of the Digital Kick-Off Day on 13 March 2025.
📝 How to submit your proposal
Please send us your Project Showcase or Digital Workshop via our applications system:
👉 Step 1: Register and create a login with your email address.
👉 Step 2: Fill in the submission form. You can save your progress and return to it later by clicking the "Save+Close" button.
👉 Step 3: Click "submit entry" to send your final submission.
We will be in touch in mid-January to let you know if you have been selected and to inform you about the next steps.
