6th Creative Bureaucracy Festival - 150 speakers from more than 30 countries in over 70 sessions with creative solutions for the administration of tomorrow: faster digitalization, strategies for comprehensive equality and more skilled personnel.
- Tickets are available at €29 at https://creativebureaucracy.org/. The main-stage programme will be livestreamed for free on the festival homepage.
- The topics of the programme range from digitalization and AI to issues of modern organisational culture, participation, and citizen involvement.
- The thematic sessions will be complemented by a varied supporting programme with music, food trucks, awards ceremony, and networking opportunities.
- The festival will kick off with two events the day before: the Global Government Innovators Forum and the Young Creative Bureaucrats Event (both by invitation).

Berlin, 04 May 2023. For the sixth time, the leading creative minds of the public sector will meet in Berlin at the Creative Bureaucracy Festival. The participants will share their best practices and their insights and methods for more innovation in the public sector.
Ekin Deligöz, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, will present new strategies to solving the shortage of skilled workers in her keynote on the main stage. Christoph Verenkotte, President of the Federal Office of Administration, will look into the future of administration together with Elisa Lindinger from Superrr Lab. With the support of the Hertie Foundation, the "Young Faces Young Spaces Award" will be presented for the second time in a row for particularly creative youth participation in municipalities. Misbah Khan, MdB will address current digital policy and present a feminist perspective on register modernisation. Markus Richter, CIO of the Federal Government will give insights into current digitisation projects. The six winning teams of the community voting of the Digital Kick-Off Day will present their projects on the main stage.
On this year's Bowl Stage, the Goethe Institute will speak about its Cities Ahead programme, which supports cultural urban development, as well as representatives of the International Design Government network. GIZ, the digilab of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the GovStack Initiative will host a discussion on mission-oriented innovation in international development policy. The team of EIT Culture & Creativity, an initiative of the European Union, will present its plans for supporting cultural and creative industries (CCSI). In collaboration with Politics for Tomorrow, the festival will once again present the Academy - a creative workshop series that stands for unconventional thinking, radical imagination, and action to change systems.
On the day before the festival, 14 June, the thought leaders of the international changemaker community will meet at the Global Government Innovators Forum, and the next generation of creative bureaucrats will network at the Young Creative Bureaucrats Event.
