Start your day with a hot coffee from our coffee cart, then head to the info desk to collect your badge, programme, and brochure. Join us at 9:00 for the Grand Opening on the Mainstage, where you can secure your seat and prepare for a day of inspiring presentations.

At 10:00, participate in the Background Table event Reaching Net Zero. Explore the government green skills gap and how it hinders public servants from taking action on the climate crisis. Engage with 15 global public leaders and allies as they discuss the challenges, opportunities, and shared experiences in advancing net-zero goals.

Then head back to the Mainstage to join the A Bureaucracy of Unlearning block at 11:00 for Slow is the New Fast: Leadership for Lasting Change. Acclaimed social entrepreneur Sascha Haselmayer will unveil a 5-step process for achieving effective social change through intentional actions. Learn from real-world examples that demonstrate the principles for creating long-lasting transformation.

Take a break for lunch outside, where you’ll be able to much on tacos, fries, and burgers while witnessing a live muralist in action. Then continue your journey at 13:00 at the Mainstage with the A Bureaucracy of Action block event #FreetownTheTreeTown: A Community-Driven Tree-Planting Revolution. Discover how Freetown City Council, in collaboration with climate-vulnerable communities, aims to plant and digitally track 1 million trees by 2023. 

At 15:00, find out what all the AI hype is about with the seminar The Balancing Act: Ethics and AI. Engage in a thought-provoking discussion on the ethical implications of AI in public administrations, including insights from expert panelists and the Goethe-Institut’s approach to AI ethics.

Catch one last event at 17:00 with the A Bureaucracy of Imagination block featuring sessions such as Change is Not an Option, The Art of Imagination, The People Power Game: Draw, Imagine and Resolve the World’s Demographic Dilemmas, and From Fruits to Rock: Inspiring a Healthy Lifestyle through Music. 

Wrap up the day at 19:00 with the Grand Finale at the Mainstage where we’ll close with an award ceremony, an open bar, and a photobooth to capture the memories of the day.
