Johanna Sieben

Johanna Sieben war bis 2025 Direktorin des Creative Bureaucracy Festival. In dieser Rolle prägte sie Programm, Partnerschaften und strategische Ausrichtung eines internationalen Formats, das Menschen aus Verwaltung, Zivilgesellschaft und weiteren gesellschaftlichen Bereichen zusammenbringt, um neue Wege öffentlichen Handelns sichtbar und diskutierbar zu machen.
Heute arbeitet sie an der Weiterentwicklung anschlussfähiger Formate und Trägermodelle an der Schnittstelle von öffentlicher Innovation, demokratischer Infrastruktur und gemeinwohlorientierter Organisationsentwicklung. Dazu gehört insbesondere die Konzeption des Public Vitality Camp gemeinsam mit nextlearning e. V. als nächster Entwicklungsstufe: mit stärkerer Community-Einbindung, einer bewussteren Aktivierung öffentlicher Orte sowie einem Fokus auf ebenübergreifende Governance, Resilienz und langfristige Wirkung.
Darüber hinaus kooperiert sie mit Love Politics, einem überparteilichen Ausbildungsprogramm für die nächste Generation von Politiker:innen, an der Entwicklung eines tragfähigen Business-Modells für wirkungsorientierte Bildungs- und Beteiligungsformate. Ihr Interesse gilt der Frage, wie aus starken Einzelmomenten belastbare Infrastrukturen für Lernen, Zusammenarbeit und demokratische Erneuerung entstehen können.
Johanna ist eine erprobte Führungspersönlichkeit für Organisationen, öffentliche Institutionen, Förderpartner und Mitgestalter:innen, die an der nächsten Generation öffentlicher Formate, an lebendigen demokratischen Räumen und an tragfähigen Kooperationsmodellen mitwirken möchten.

Johanna Sieben was Director of the Creative Bureaucracy Festival until 2025. In this role, she shaped the programme, partnerships and strategic direction of an international initiative that brings together people from public administration, civil society and other sectors of society to highlight and facilitate discussion of new approaches to public action.
Today, she is working on the further development of scalable formats and funding models at the intersection of public innovation, democratic infrastructure and organisational development focused on the common good. This includes, in particular, the design of the Public Vitality Camp in collaboration with nextlearning e. V. as the next stage of development: with greater community involvement, a more conscious activation of public spaces, and a focus on cross-sectoral governance, resilience and long-term impact.
Furthermore, she is collaborating with Love Politics, a non-partisan training programme for the next generation of politicians, on the development of a sustainable business model for impact-oriented education and participation formats. Her interest lies in the question of how resilient infrastructures for learning, collaboration and democratic renewal can emerge from powerful individual moments.
