Dieter Rombach

Senior Research Professor (Computer Science, TU Kaiserslautern) und Founding Director of Fraunhofer IESE (Software & Systems Engineering). In the past, I have spent app. 10 years with the University of Maryland, USA, and NASA. Currently I hold honorary positions as CEO of SIAK (Network of all science and technology organizations in the Kaiserslautern area and as CDO of the city of Kaiserslautern. Since many years I support the Digital Transformation in all areas of society (e.g.: Production, Admin, Health and Energy) and conribute actively vai teaching, research and technology transfer. Awards include Fellowships from ACM und IEEE, Honorary Cross from Germany, Honorary Medal from RLP, Harlan-Mills-Lifetime Award from IEEE and an honorary PhD.
