Using technology to reduce political corruption and foster economic development in Jalisco, Mexico
During this session, we will share how we are helping governments to digitize and manage licensing procedures while reducing the digital divide, political corruption, and promoting the socio-economic development of the regions. All of this, through the open-source platform Visor Urbano, a cooperation project between Bloomberg Philanthropies and the State of Jalisco (Mexico).
It surely hasn’t been an easy ride, and we’ll be happy to share how we have been able to speed up long, complex, and extensive bureaucratic procedures, while combating high level of corruption and favoritism.
This session is part of our community voting. Six session will have the chance to win a programme slot at our live festival in Berlin on 2 June 2022. Vote for your favourite session here: https://creativebureaucracy.org/voting/
