Reinventing government: Innovation labs as game-changers for development cooperation
The digilab by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) uses a multi-stakeholder approach involving private sector and civil society partner and wants to rethink development cooperation to increase efficiency and impact in a typical lab-atmosphere. The Scouting and Scaling of proven digital solutions, as well as applying new working methods throughout our activities cross-sector within the ministry is our mission. Our physical space – the digilab in Berlin – enables guests and public servants to experiment in a safe environment and try out agile working methods, like Scrum and Design Thinking. In our session you will get a glimpse on who we are and how and where we work. For the session, we invited one of GovStack’s partners, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Egypt. They will share insights on their work on GovStack’s building block approach to e-government services.
This session is part of our community voting. Six session will have the chance to win a programme slot at our live festival in Berlin on 2 June 2022. Vote for your favourite session here: https://creativebureaucracy.org/voting/
