Milagros Hurtig (Argentina, 1990) is a place-maker, working in participatory design and planning. She has performed as a project manager of place-making strategies, community art, and urban design projects. In Buenos Aires, she has been part of Urbanismo Vivo collective, she is co-founder of the collective urban.femina and she has worked as an urban specialist in Superwien, being involved in projects across Europe and Latin America (Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Austria, Germany, Kosovo and more). Milagros holds a degree in architecture and a master's degree in urban studies from the University of Vienna, Vrije University of Brussel, the University of Copenhagen, and the Complutense University of Madrid. She is currently a PhD candidate at the design department of NTNU researching design tools to enable communication and empathy among different stakeholders and community groups.
