David Martens

David is a designer and maker currently working for the EU Policy Lab at the European Commission. He’s figuring out how creative practices can contribute to policymaking, and what it takes to experiment inside public institutions. He loves taking pictures, making videos and playing music, and is constantly looking for ways to bring those practices into his office job. While building a practice in design for policy, he is also looking at what art can bring to policymaking and how to introduce the world of feelings and stories into the policy environment.
